Katherine McPhee has come a long way since losing American Idol to Taylor Hicks (who?) but that hasn’t slowed her down a bit! Actually, if anything, it’s helped. No pressure was on her to release a hit album and she got the best PR that any singer could hope for, that money could never buy. I was a HUGE fan of Smash and I am still devastated that it’s gone. With that said, Katherine went for a completely different look with her recent makeover. No more girl next door, she wants to take on the vamp roles now.
