Someone tell Jennifer Lawrence to end her contract with Dior because her style stock is plummeting fast. The Oscar winner (and 2014 Best Supporting Actress nominee) attended the 2014 Oscars red carpet on Sunday wearing a strapless red Dior gown that made us yawn.
Featuring side peplum details and a fitted bodice, the "American Hustle" star looked gorgeous, natch, but failed to excite our fashion minds even though we think she's one of the best reasons to watch the Academy Awards. With her short hairdo slicked back and teased, JLaw looked as if she were channeling the poofy hair of the '80s.
A simple backwards diamond necklace, a couple of cocktail rings and a silver box clutch completed her look. Of course, the self-admitted clumsy star couldn't get away without some kind of accident; in a mini repeat of her famous 2013 Oscars fall, the 23-year-old tripped over a cone while walking the red carpet.
